Seven Layers of goodness make this appetizer a winner for game day, taco night, or a Monday. 

 

7 Layer Dip is one appetizer I cannot stop eating. I just keep going back for more. It has guacamole, bean dip, and sour cream! I mean, can you blame me?

This is very easy to make even for a non-cook. All you have to do is layer all the ingredients and voila! Beautiful, delicious appetizer for the crowd.

The Dish

What are you serving it on? Sometimes that is more important than what you are serving it with. The easiest way to serve this and you’ll probably laugh at me is on a throw away aluminum foil tin. This is my husband’s go-to especially for game day. You just toss and no messy dish clean up. Perfect for tailgating when you may be walking around or heading to the game later.

If however, you want to get a little more refined, I love this on an oblong serving tray. At Halloween I use a more round serving dish and make a slider web in the sour cream by drawing big circles all around and then dragging a toothpick from the inside to the outside every few inches.

I add taco seasoning as a “layer” and believe me when I say it makes all the difference in the world.

I know some people like to add seasoned taco meat to their dip. I do not. It’s yummy don’t get me wrong, but I never add it.
