It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and what better way to start the festivities than with a mouthwatering Christmas morning breakfast? This is our go-to Christmas morning menu on the farm. You can even make a pretty menu (this one I use for our Christmas dinner too, you can easily edit this in Canva) you can share or print for your guests. All my girlfriends are messaging each other this time of year asking for favorite recipes. My friend just shared an amazing breakfast casserole with sausage and RICE KRISPIES if you can believe that. It’s so good, but this is the one I make. Eggs Benedict are my favorite way to eat eggs.
Monkey Bread is a classic, crowd-pleasing treat that is sure to put a smile on everyone’s face. This pull-apart bread made with balls of dough coated in cinnamon, sugar, and butter is both indulgent and comforting. TJ’s mom makes this every year. My kids love it with cinnamon. She usually does just sugar, but she’ll add nuts too. It’s super easy with frozen bread dough.
Mimosas, Christmas morning is not complete without a celebratory toast, and what better way to do so than with mimosas? This delightful sparkling cocktail combines fresh orange juice and champagne, creating a fizzy and vibrant drink that is perfect for a festive occasion. To add a twist, consider using different juices such as cranberry or grapefruit, or adding a splash of flavored liqueurs like peach or raspberry. Cheers to a delightful Christmas morning!
Eggs Benedict Casserole If you’re dreaming of a savory breakfast on your Christmas morning menu that brings a touch of elegance to your table, look no further than Eggs Benedict Casserole. This dish takes the classic brunch favorite to a whole new level by layering English muffins, Canadian bacon, and eggs in a creamy hollandaise sauce. Even better you can prepare all components the night before, and pop it in the oven for a hassle-free and scrumptious breakfast. It’s a wonderful way to indulge in a brunch staple without the stress of traditional poaching and assembling. Don’t forget the hollandaise sauce. You can make your own but this one is pretty good and VERY easy.
Enjoy this Christmas morning menu, or make your own. Happy holidays and bon appétit!
